Dear Shawn,Ten weeks well spent! Thank you so much for your invaluable instruction. You took three
ladies at very different skill levels with different expectations and were able to instil
confidence, excitement and a desire to continue with the game of golf. Your flexible yet
professional teaching style was delivered with a sense of humour. Your personal commitment and
dedication to teaching was matched by your infectious enthusiasm and love of the game. You were
incredibly patient, and helped us learn from our ‘good misses’.
Your instruction drove our games to a new level. You provided us with the techniques
and tools to deal with different course conditions and challenges. By mid course we were
able to play 9 holes at a regulation course successfully. Our classes were enjoyable,
never frustrating and always fun. Your learning program provided the perfect balance between group
learning and individual instruction. Your ability to provide instruction that was
individually tailored to our various learning needs helped us to improve on our varied areas of weakness.
We always had fun and left looking forward to our next lesson. In fact we plan to continue our learning with you over the winter.
Sincerely
Barbara, Rachel and Bobb
With just one session on the DBS, I learned the “feel” of how I wanted to be stable on my left side at ball contact. My pro has been telling me this for a long time, just didn’t get it. Now I feel there is more space to swing the club through-my swing is now less mechanical and ball contact is solid!” - JS, 2 handicapWe are unbelievably happy with the DBS! It truly is a fun way to learn/teach balance; we are learning some fantastic things from it. I can’t stop wondering how we ever taught without it!–Richard Kaplan, Golf Professional

“I did what?!” is the common answer we get when we show our students their balance graph for the first time. Because the swing happens so fast, it is very difficult to tell what just transpired in the shot. The DBS not only shows you visually, it also tells you through positive and negative audio feedback; which is amazing for gaining awareness to the happenings in your swing! When the awareness kicks in, breakthroughs are around the corner!

I have been watching your videos on Hogans power move. Very, very insightfull. I have been a student of the game for a while and a big Hogan fan. This is one of the best discussions or explanations of one of his best moves (his move into the ball) that I have ever seen and I have sat down and chatted with Dana Bellinger, Jackson Bradley, Tinsley Penick…some good instructors. This is good stuff, keep up the good work sir and I’ll send golf digest an e-mail saying if they put you on the cover…I’ll buy it.
Thank you for posting this, this has been very helpful in my own swing (I have fought a pull for a while).
Thanks again and keep it up,
David Beane
Shawn,
I just recentlly discovered your golf lessons on YouTube, and I want to personally thank you for these great gems!!! I hopped on the “Stack and Tilt” bandwagon, which led me to your video on that topic, and I quickly realized what a great golf swing looks like. After one day of watching your videos, I have adopted–for the first time in my golfing life–a smooth takeaway where everything moves together. It feels awesome! As a school teacher, coach, and guitar instructor, I can appreciate the difference between being great at something and being able to teach it. You are truly a great teacher. Thanks for the tips.
